Missing Children

Please supervise your children at all times when at the beach. Arrange a meeting place incase you become seperated. Ask a lifeguard for a free lost child band and write your mobile phone number on it. This is a quick and easy way of safeguarding your children.

If you become seperated from your child:

  • Don't panic.
  • Check the area around you or where you last saw your child. Notify a lifeguard
  • Give basic information - age, clothing, name etc and the time and place the child was last seen
  • If you go searching, make sure any other children you have are supervised and report back to lifeguards at regular intervals
  • When you locate your child, notify the lifeguards immediatly

If you find a lost child, contact the nearest lifeguard or contact the police.
